Module 3 - Creating References in an EndNote Library

There are four ways in which you can create a new reference in EndNote:

  • Manual entry: Key the reference information in the Reference window
  • Direct import: Import information directly from a database into EndNote
  • Import filters: Convert information found in electronic sources into a format that EndNote can import
  • Connect files: Connect to, search and import information from electronic sources

This module will focus on entering references manually. Module 4 will look at importing references into EndNote.
