How Do I Get EndNote?

What version of EndNote should I be using?

Endnote X1is installed on the ANU Information Commons PCs and Macs. From the library students can borrow CDs with EndNote X1 to be installed on their home computers. EndNote training at the university will be on EndNote X1.

Features of EndNote X1 include: the capacity to use non-roman script characters and an extended range of bibliographic styles and manuscript templates. In addition, EndNote X1 allows you to connect to more external data resources than ever before.

EndNote 7 and 9 are still used on campus and are a reliable product. EndNote 7 and 9 users can upgrade to EndNote X1 but they need to be aware that EndNote X1 libraries can not be used by earlier versions of EndNote.

It cannot be stressed enough to un-install older versions of EndNote on your computer before installing an upgraded version.
