Students
will learn how to select information sources that are appropriate to their
needs. They will develop skills in evaluating information while working
on a number of subject specific databases.
Students will have an opportunity to translate the searching skills learned
in Search Strategies and Topic Analysis training session to a range of
subject specific databases. There will be an opportunity in this course
to use the skills acquired in EndNote training.
Prerequisites:
Students must have attended a Search Strategies and Topic Analysis session
and it is strongly recommended that they have attended the 2 EndNote modules
before attending this course.
