Getting Help

The ANU offers a number of options to help you with IT and information & library queries. Most help options are available for both students and staff. However, some programs are specifically for staff or students.

The Online guide homepage is a treasure trove of online help including:

  • IT Applications interactive online tutorials and helpsheets for both PC and Mac. eg Office 2003, Macromedia, Adobe, EndNote etc
  • Information & Library: how to search the internet more effectively with discipline specific examples
  • Exam help: past ANU exam papers, tips and hints on how to prepare successfully for exams
  • Citation guides: MLA, APA, Harvard etc
  • WebCT:
    • For students: login to find out about how to use all the features of WebCT
    • For Staff: The Designers Website so you can use the full functionality of WebCT in your teaching
