6. Implementation Strategy An implementation strategy has been developed and approved. As an initial step pilot projects will be undertaken in the following areas: 1. Travelling Training Program - one-to-one IT training in four pilot areas 2. Online Tutorials - IT Applications - Evaluation of suppliers and products 3. Online Tutorial - Information Research Strategies - identification of a suitable model and customisation for ANU 4. Train-the-Trainer Course Proposals - Evaluation of potential suppliers 5. On-campus Lab-Based IT Training These projects will provide guidance to the Information Literacy Program team in their development of a program for the period October 2000 – December 2001. Detailed planning will be undertaken in consultation with all relevant areas. The program will be regularly reviewed and adjusted to meet contemporary needs. |
