This very successful program has been running for 9 years at ANU, led by Caron Egle of IMPACT Learning and Development Pty Ltd. This course is open to:
-- ANU staff
-- members of ACTUAL (ACU, UC, ADFA, CIT, ANU)
-- staff at other university and tertiary institutions
-- staff of government libraries engaged in information literacy and other training activities.
NOTE: this course is not open to members of the public.The program will provide participants with some of the underpinning knowledge and skills to train people within an academic environment. We will holistically explore the training cycle, including the context of training and a range of factors which impact on the training environment - with particular reference to the various elements of the Kaleidoscope of Thinking, delivery strategies including online learning and flexible delivery, learning resources and ways to plan, deliver and evaluate training.
There are 14 competencies which combine to form the new Certificate IV Training and Assessment. The 14 competencies are taught in 4 modules.
